Three main themes emerged at Cersaie, the Annual Italian Tile Fair which took place at the end of September in Bologna; A continuation of The Vintage styles which emerged last year, a softening of cement and stone style ranges and a fusion of the two which will make for some interesting new styles in the coming year. All of the ranges featured below will be arriving in our Terenure Showroom in the next 6- 8 weeks. The heavily patterned English Victorian Style tiles which have proved popular with Irish customers recently have been joined by more Bohemian Styles typical in Europe between the two wars
Stone and Concrete effect porcelain tiles which have been so popular over the last number of years have been softened by fusing them with wood, alabaster and even paper. Rather than mimicking one stone the latest collections will have elements of several different types of stones in the one range giving a much more varied appearance than recent years which is accentuated by the use of thin strip tiles for both bathrooms and kitchens
Muted Colours such as those popular in hand painted Kitchens etc will be making a big come back in 2014 in both kitchens and bathrooms
